That much-ballyhooed "sacred" commitment to academic freedom at today's universities is why this blog must remain pseudonymous. I need to continue to earn a living, and I don't have tenure.
the more you say, the quicker folks will figure out who you are. look at what happened to the adjunct at Southern Methodist. leave it alone - your research area is too small a town.

Completely with you on this. My blog life is pseudonymous because the arts are too small and biased a field.
